Thanx Biondo! It would be great! 🙂
I have no iPhone, but wallpapers are fit to my phone. (iPhone3 wallpapers. 320×480). Vertical, the width is 320.
You can make great pictures, you decide about the design 🙂
Here they are, Sape.
Nokia 6303 Classic
Nokia 6303 Sape
If some of you has an iPhone, find here iPhone’s versions: iPhone 3, iPhone 4
Thanx Biondo! It is great! 😀
Howdy!
Biondo, could you make a LAME Clan mobile wallpaper? You can find the necessary information on the size and proportions easily, if you look at an iPhone wallpaper.
It could follow the design of the website with “LAME Clan” logo, the boarding backgrounds, and with a peacemaker, for example.
Yes Sape, of course I can. Not today though. I don’t have an iPhone, but searching Internet i found these display specs:
– iPhone 3: 320×480 px @ 163 ppi
– iPhone 4: 640×480 px @ 326 ppi
Is this correct? Do you want iPhone 3 or iPhone 4 wallpaper?. Vertical or horizontal? With your name too? 😉
Hehe, I will try it Biondo, lets see with what I will come up with soon!
Ah, that big one fits nice on my other screen. I was thinking, would it make sense to make an info-graphic, starting from your situation in – in stead of, like here, starting from the gun. Example: my situation: My enemy is moving very hard, he’s on a close range. What weapon to use? Answer:
Shotgun, knife, maybe molotov.
Might be a nice expansion
Yes, the main defect about my drawing is it’s coldness … just data without a context. But this is exactly what you need to make a data-rich infographic: data and numbers. I think it would be impossible to draw an infographic with all usage situations for the different weapons. For this purpose is better to write more conversational pages, as those we have here: http://lameclan.altervista.org/blog/smokinguns/weapons/
Nevertheless, I’ll keep in mind your idea and your example, maybe some day I can draw something …
You have a monster monitor, Jippi! 😀
Thank you. I’ll see what I can do.
Yes, monster monitor is 30”, and i can see you all. 😉
Update: Jippi, I’ve added a 2560x1600px version (look for the link under the image above).
I loved that design. Big great job! 🙂
Very nice infographics, Biondo, especially I like the icons.
One comment: you’ve decided to partly ignore the range factor, which is very useful, IMHO.
thank you all, thanks Mope.
There has been some work on icons (and many changes). But the difficult part of the work is getting a lot of information in a not-so-big space and make it readable. The spacing among text and icons still need some work, but I’m tired of this. Actually I’ve drawn this graphic some months ago, but it was so bad that you couldn’t decipher what is written [just for graphic designers here, the first version of this is here (10MB, be advised): http://lameclan.altervista.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/wallpaper1440x900-2.png].
No, I didn’t ignore range… I’ve just put in a graphic display the informations you find in SG manual. The only thing I changed is that I assigned a FAST reload to Sawed-Off, while SG manual declares a SLOW one (obviously a mistake).
But for some weapons you do have range factor. Not for all, and I’m not able to determine it. I just re-designed an information written by someone else.
My intent was also to design a usable wallpaper. If you have a 1440×900 desktop, and if you find it usable …
>> if you have a 1440×900 desktop, and if you find it usable …
Pls. for 2560 x 1600 too. :=)
Nice page biondo, so the new players can see what weapon is good for witch map.
This was my intent, Jesse. I’m always trying to promote Smokin’ Guns, BallerBude and *LAME* clan, doesn’t matter in which order. And I think the whole clan has my same feelings.
The infographic is not enough for a newcomer probably, it’s just numbers. But we have some other pages about how to use SG weapons that can help them.
I’m thinking and thinking, but I can’t find an answer 😡
I suppose you have to use more strategy than usual with them, but you are lucky if this works.
Generally speaking, a good ping is only one of the factors determining a good player. I don’t think we should give to it too much importance.
Cool assembly!
There is a question: what can we do against “low ping warriors” ?
What is your experience, what weapon should be used against them. (Or should open a separate page on this issue?)
