Seems like we are going to experiment 2 new types of gameplay tonight, in our weekly clan deathmatch (Terra Nova 20:30 CET).
First proposal, by Slowly John, is called “Minesweeper”, that means you can use only dyna to kill your opponents, but without lightning it … to make it explode you have to shoot at it with your gun.
Second proposal, by Biondo, two teams using only knives in Station. Each team should occupy a distinct side of the map, using the middle rail as a delimiter. So, no knife shaving will be possible, just knife throwing. It’s not allowed to kill who respawns in the wrong zone, and similarly who respawns in the wrong zone can’t kill anybody until he reaches his team. Team composition has still to be decided.

the dyna-trick was very funny! i fight for a short while together with Gunny from a roof. it was unplanned and it was so when i saw his cigarette next to me… 🙂 teams to build are very easy here because “close combats” are almost impossible. the quick “take of” from dynamite before you can shot on, it is so funny. about a short while receive sahra a lot of dynamite from me, she caught this like a professional football player 😀
and somebody, i know not who, ignite my thrown dynamite in the air… FUN FUN FUN
Biondo,SAPE it’s a pity that you don’t play the dyna game :). It was so funny, Gunny and AK47, Stone did it the best in the games, the liked very much I think. much LOL 🙂
After that match we played a classic Tiujana game.

I don’t like the complicated games. This is the reason I play SG, not COD or other FPS games.
And there is a friend, AK-47…. I think if there is a guest in clan match, we must play normal DM with normal rules.

@Sape, I asked to a.k47 if he agreed to change map/game, and he said “OK”. Maybe I’m wrong, but knowing him a bit, I think he had already read this post about yesterday’s strange rules.
@all: I see that I was misunderstood, when playing in Station, there was no intent to protest by my side. I was only too tired to read all the strings appearing in chat, so I missed some important info.
I was unprepared for a TDM, I always imagined the game as an usual DM, only played in team … I hadn’t been clear enough about this, my fault. I tried to follow the rules, but when I started to see people protesting and people randomly running all over the map, I realized that the project had failed (as Zapa had predicted ;)). Next I said “free game for all”, and started following this last rule. No intent to boycott, or protest.
Too bad that I missed the dyna game, I’ve heard that it was big fun, but my mind was elsewhere yesterday night.
Next week I propose to you, a simple game, in the traditional style of Smokin’ Guns (or should I say Gunsmoke?).

In the meantime, I’ve to visit station so I’ll be at the right side of the railroad. A bit like everyday life (without the knifes, obviously) for me.

the station is realy good for knife-throwing and i think also for minesweeper. hm, build balanced teams… have someone an idea? i am a knife-throwing-rookie 🙂
