Since some of us are designers and the rest of us seems to enjoy a little design post.
Here comes another one.
Withe Adobe Kuler, an online tool for making color schemes, I prepared two color schemes.
In Kuler, you can upload a picture and create a nice theme out of it.
First one is based on the SG theme, the menu you get when starting up the game
Second one is based on the theme on this site:
Now comes the fun part for designers. Go to SG theme here and Lame Theme here. If you don’t have a login, you can’t download the swatches, registration is free. If you do have a adobe ID, you can download the theme as a swatch library that you can add into your Illustrator or Indesign. It’s a .ASE library, I’m not sure Linux vectorprograms will recognize it. But if they don’t, you can look up the value of the swatches and copy them into your software.

Well, SOME of us are graphic nerds. But in any case, we’re all LAME for sure 😀
Your right Biondo about the Site palette. But if it works for a site, it might also work for an image. Sorry about forgetting the categories.
The SG-theme needs some highlights too. I think I make some Western theme one day, it will have more brightness, more heat in it.

Wow, nice to see that you found the time to post, Zapa! I’m greed of reading other members’ contributions.
Good idea to feed Kuler with SG menu, and *LAME* site. No bad palettes at all, though SG’s one is a little bit depressive.
About our palette: it’s marked by some colours that pertain more to web functionality than to aesthetics: I mean the colours of links, that have to be something in evidence inside a page.
Still it is quite usable in *LAME* pictures.
P.S.: I added a category “Graphics” to your post. I hope you aren’t angry.
