hmmm .. a real great man is gone !

i remember reading Schwermetall and U-Comix,
published by volksverlag in germany, realy underground, for adults only, non commercial ….
the publisher died, but brained in me were artist like
corben, moebius, shelton and bilal !

some works lile arzach are scurrile, out of space, somewhere in the universe … but the incal is a space cowboy story, never reached …. must read !

I got a copy of the article in today’s newspaper next to me on the desk, i picked it up this morning. Only half a page article!

Very very sad loss, you know Jesse and I are very big fans.
Also, Giraud is known as Moebius, make sure to check out the great works there. (in the article it is said he uses a different part if his ‘being’ to make Moebius or Giraud work. So for a more mystic Sci-Fi in which he explored his more ‘strange’ self, he became Moebius. For a more realistic, personal introspection – it is said Blueberry speaks a lot about Giraud himself – he became Giraud.

Thx Tequila for the respect, much apreciated! Indeed he made us dreaming, and how! Great storys, great images. I started two hobbys by him, drawing and comics 🙂 And a love for western of course!
Tnx Biondo for your fast post.

RIP mate, you gave us so much and more.

Damn, Giraud I will miss you! Fantastic comics did you made, and indeed dreaming to be a cowboy in the Far West. This is one of the reasons why we play SG.

Ho yes, have a nice time. You made dreaming so many guys, you deserve your rest.
I wish some artist in our loved game will pay homage to you in a near future.
